Message That is way high if you ask me. Don't restrict yourself to your immediate area and you can find Z MUCH cheaper. It would be worth the money to fly to get a car and drive it home.

I only paid $9200 for my 1991 NA 5-spd w/ 95,000 miles on it almost 5 years ago, and it was mint condition with ALL receipts for every oil change, tire rotation, service, etc. Even back then there were scads of 60,000 mile NA's for sale for $10-11K.

My friend sold his '91 NA 5spd in excellent condition with 120K on it for only $3800. I could've kicked his ass since he didn't tell me he was selling it or I probably would have bought it from him for that price.

The Dallas area has lots of Z's cheap, I'd look in the Dallas Morning News classifieds online.

Also, DO NOT spend all your money on the car upfront. You will be a very unhappy camper. Z's are not low maintainance cars and more than likely you will have to spend some money on the car after you get it for tires, 60K service, tension rods, etc. I'd keep at least a grand back for work.

Mike
